Lisa Grotts is a certified etiquette consultant, founder of The AML Group and author of a new book, A Traveler’s Passport to Etiquette. As a member of RedCarpetSF’s style council, Lisa contributes etiquette tips for social events in San Francisco.

What do you like about San Francisco style?  That evening gowns are de rigeur

Whose San Francisco style do you admire?  Yurie Pascarella is the ultimate in glamour and gets an A+ for elegance at every occasion

Are there fashion “don’ts” in San Francisco? Yes, jeans at the ballet, opera and symphony

Which are your San Francisco beauty spots?  Paige at Alex Chases Salon; Sarah at Blink Eyebrows and Cosmetics, Joelle Dussuyer for Acupuncture

Favorite place to meet for cocktails in San Francisco?  Tortilla Heights for margaritas

Any local workout tips? Friday hikes in the Presidio, two hours
