I do think buy evening bags from an online bags shop is a good idea.since designer bags are expensive, and trend changes very fast. Even many movie stars shopping online. few days ago I just throw away my old bag and got a new one.I don't have much time to go house to house. my bags change with the fashion in this way. It spend me less money and less time

Loved your tips MB. . . I'd add to your little stash: Airbourne fizzy tablets. They're absolutely necessary in this day and age to give you a burst of Vitamin C and stop a cold before it starts. Developed for people who traveled by air a lot. And, you forgot: a book. More than headphones which can be very clumsy, a book will shut off a nosy-noisy seatmate than just about anything else and if it's a paperback, takews up less room and weighs less than earphone. Plus, you may be able to get earphones with clear ear pieces if the plane is showing a movie. When I was traveling so much touring for my books, I traveled with mini-bottles of everything I used including a heavy-duty hand cream. Airplane air is recycled and very dry. Not a lot of natural moisture in it and your skin gets really parched. I'd also travel with something concentrated and healthy to eat since most airlines are not serving food any more unless you're traveling First or Business Class and you're not always guaranteed that the food is going to be good. Self-catering is always a better idea. On one trip to Europe when my pal and I were in NYC for a day before we left, we went to Zabar's and had them cater a really fabulous lunch for us. Much better!
