Encore!, the social and networking group of young professionals supporting San Francisco Ballet, held a cocktail reception for 200 in the South Light Court at City Hall prior to San Francisco Ballet's opening performance at the War Memorial Opera House on January 24, 2013. The event was chaired by Jane Burkhard, who also serves as the president of Encore!.

Also at City Hall prior to the gala performance, San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary, the fundraising group made up of 100 women who support the ballet, hosted three fundraising dinners for some 1,000 donors (click here for Red Carpet Bay Area's coverage). All 3,000 opening night ticketholders were invited to the after-party celebration at City Hall with DJ Chris Clouse, live music by Freddy Clarke and Wobbly World and DJ Sebastian Concha, who is also a San Francisco Ballet dancer.
