| Hasti Kashfia is the founder of MODE Bay Area, a popular digital fashion publication, fashion editor at Elation, a Persian magazine, a celebrity wardrobe stylist, a mother of two boys, and a wife. Hasti is one of Red Carpet Bay Area's Top Women of Style for 2011, and we want to know: Do you have any wardrobe challenges? My main challenge is maintaining a look that is family friendly yet fashionable. I have to keeep up with my kids and look fabulous for my career at the same time. Will you share a fashion tip? Go up a size and use a tailor if you are between sizes. An item that is tailored to fit your body, even if it is inexpensive, will compliment your shape better than a designer piece that doesn't fit well. What is a current fashion don't: Don't match your purse and shoes; it's not right now. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Do you follow any fashion rules? For myself, I prefer a minimal or understated look. I have a thousand little black dresses that carry me from event to event and activitiy to activity. When I look back at pictures of myself I want to see something timeless. What are your top three beauty products? Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Foundation, La Mer cream, and a Shiseido eyelash curler. Meet more of Red Carpet Bay Area's Top Women of Style, 2011: Paula Carano, Sonya Molodetskaya, Yurie Pascarella and Charlotte Shultz. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
