Fashion on the Square, an Unsung Diva Production, featured a runway fashion show from b Michael, Art Institute of San Francisco design student Eric Stultz, and a performance from Alonzo King’s LINES ballet. Y’Anad Burrell, a former instructor at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, founded Fashion on the Square in 2003 as a platform to blend established designers with designers who could not afford to stage their own shows during fashion week. Fashion on the Square benefited Wardrobe for Opportunity www.wardrobe.org, Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) /www.kidsdonations.org and Fashion Delivers www.fashiondelivers.org, three organizations that provide clothing and hope to low-income job seekers, homeless families, domestic abuse victims, families of the incarcerated and disaster survivors.
