Beauty pageants are about serious sparkle, glamour and gowns. Miss USA 2009 delivered the magic. Three of the top five contestants wore white, though, Miss North Carolina, crowned Miss USA, wore a heavenly turquoise gown with a simple crystal band. The secret to the perfect pageant dress can be summed up in two words: Sherri Hill. Sherri Hill is a master at creating gowns that highlight a woman’s body. Eight of the top ten gowns at Miss USA 2009 were designed by Hill, and countless past Miss USA beauties have been crowned in her creations.
