Spring is in the air, and there’s no better time of year to shake off the cold winter weather and embrace beauty with healthy, radiant skin. Cold winter days can leave skin feeling dull, sunken, and dehydrated. It’s time to give your skin a lift with Epi Center MedSpa’s signature facials and medical treatments to emanate brightness from the inside out.
Recommended Treatment:
PhotoFacialSM
PhotoFacialSM is Epi Center MedSpa’s signature proprietary treatment protocol that is now performed all over the world (developed by Epi Center’s very own Dr. Bitter Sr.), and consists of a series of Intense Pulsed Light treatments that improve the appearance of:
· Rosacea
· Flushing
· Face Veins
· Sun damage
· Freckles
· Age Spots
· Skin Texture
The treatment also improves brown or red acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. If you seek a more even complexion, then PhotoFacialSM is the treatment you want. This exciting treatment involves little or no down time. You can resume normal activities immediately!
How does it work?
An intense light is applied in a series of pulses over the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. The heat impairs the vessel or lesion, and the body begins its natural healing process. The lesion will darken before it flakes off or is absorbed by the body. PhotoFacialSM treatment can be given as frequently as every three weeks.

RedCarpetSF, the online fashion magazine, recently launched a television show called Red Carpet Bay Area on KRON4. This brand-new show airs bi-weekly on Saturdays in the prime 7:30 pm time slot as the Northern California lead-in to Entertainment Tonight. Red Carpet Bay Area’s first show broadcast on March 13, 2010 and I was honored to be among just a handful of guests invited to watch it with Marybeth La Motte, the executive producer and show host, at La Barca in San Francisco.
Among the first things I noticed about Marybeth were her enchanting smile and her pleasant personality. She gave such a warm welcome and introduced me to her guests and close friends. Among the guests were Margaret Mitchell, founder of EpiCenter MedSpa, one of the nation’s top medical spas; Charleston Pierce, a model and CEO of Charleston Pierce Presents who has worked with supermodels such as Tyra Banks and Cindy Crawford; Bilques Smith, an accomplished account executive for KRON4; Sarah Granger, founder and managing director of SF Bay Style, a popular online blog; Moanalani Jeffrey, socialite columnist for the San Francisco Examiner who is also a photographer; and Frank Alizaga Jr., a San Francisco native and senior vice president of sales at TickerMine Company.
I had a fabulous time meeting these people at the premiere, but of course, the highlight was watching the inaugural episode of Red Carpet Bay Area. The show was fresh, vibrant, upbeat, fashionable, and contemporary. Everything from the quality of information, the presentation of the stories and superb video editing, to the attractive host with her engaging and beautiful smile, are factors that almost guarantee the show will excel. Red Carpet Bay Area combines elements from The View from the Bay and Entertainment Tonight, and will most certainly win viewers from a variety of age groups.
Photographer Jeffrey Hipona captured intimate moments from the premiere night. Marybeth La Motte could not stop smiling with joy and pride — very well deserved. So, cheers to you Marybeth! We wish you nothing but success and look forward to watching more on Red Carpet Bay Area!
